SYNTHESIS AND ANTITUBERCULAR ACTIVITY OF NOVEL BENZIMIDAZOLE DERIVATIVES

A new series of substituted benzimidazole derivatives were synthesized by N-Mannich base reactionand the structures of these compounds have been established on the basis of spectral analysis. All thecompounds have been screened for antitubercular activities. Some of these compounds have shownpromising antitubercular activity.
