Abstract
The article considers the urgent need to take into account the technological features of the combined heat and power generation process at a combined heat and power plant in the framework of activities on the wholesale electricity and capacity market as a subject. Optimization of the operation of combined heat and power plant is one of the key system tasks for optimizing the operation modes of the Unified energy system of the Russian Federation.
