Abstract
The study aimed to identify the motivation achievement and its relation to the self-concept and the academic self among the ninth-grade students in the Directorate of Education in the Governorate of Aqaba. To achieve this, the study was conducted on a sample of 1800 student for the 2017/2018 academic year. In this study, the researcher used the descriptive method to identify the motivation achievement and its relation to the self-concept. The results showed a statistically significant correlation between achievement motivation and personal self-concept among the ninth-grade students. Between the motivation achievement and the academic self-concept among the ninth-grade students. Based on the results of this study, the researcher recommended a number of recommendations, the most important of which was the reinforcement of the different curricula in the various activities that encourage self-concept and search for the best ways to contribute to its development. Provide guidance and guidelines to students who suffer from a low level of achievement motivation and introduce them to ways to increase them.
