Abstract
The study area of Bihar, third most populous state in India, has been selected as it is one of the most underdeveloped regions with the third lowest rank, slightly better than Chhattisgarh and Odisha, in the HDI ranking list of Indian states, 2011. The time series data, for the years 2001 to 2011, collected from the secondary sources has been analyzed using correlation and regression analysis for the study area.
