Abstract
The present work is based on the optimisation of the process parameters during milling of brass C360 with using Taguchi method with grey relational analysis. Nine experimental trials are conducted using Taguchi orthogonal Array. Tool speed, feed rate & cutting depth are optimized by taking different performance characteristics as a response such as surface roughness (Ra ) & material removal rate (MRR). Analysis of variance (ANOVA) has been applied to find out the contribution of control parameters on the response. The confirmation experiment finally validated optimal parameter values obtained during the analysis.
