Abstract
In this paper we briefly describe spread spectrum systems, Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) and types of spread spectrum systems and their properties. In this we study the generation of Spreading codes such as Non Orthogonal codes (Maximal lengths, Gold and Kasami sequences), Orthogonal codes (Walsh and Hadamard codes) and their functions in CDMA networks. The important properties of the sequences are examined. Auto and Cross Correlation properties of some codes are menti MATLAB where it is seen that multiple access interference that is caused by the undesired users is directly related with the cross-correlation properties of the codes of these users so, and their correlati important role in the detection.
