An Overview Automatic Identification System and Its Applications

The introduction of Automatic Identification System in the sea navigation has provided a greater assistance rather than other navigational systems, in guiding a vessel and collision avoidance, now the AIS systems provide a wide range of information ranging from speed to turn rate. This paper mainly aims about bringing a brief overview of AIS systems, its broadcastings, opera various parameters implemented while taking into consideration and with a management technique.
