Abstract
Introduction. The purpose of this article is to identify the most promisingwith regard to practical implementation trends in the ield of regenerative medicine and cell technologies. Methods. The article presents the analysis of literature, including bibliographic publication sets (2012–2017) of the SciVal Spotlight (Elsevier), as well as the results of machining, aggregation and structuring of market intelligence databases (Gartner, Forrester, Markets and Markets, Research and Markets). Results and Discussion. The most actively developing scientiic topics are revealed. Taking into account the existing knowledge in this interdisciplinary ield of science, socio-economic factors and the potential of the legal base, an objective assessment of the possibility to obtain practical results for wide use in medical services is given for the irst time. The author identiies insurmountable in the medium term barriers for large-scale clinical application of diferent biomedical cell products in regenerative medicine and oncology. Coclusion. It is concluded that the most signiicant (in terms of potential contribution to the real sector of the economy in the medium and long term) areas of research and development should be considered the topics related to pharmacological strategy of regenerative medicine and the development of decellularized matrices within the use of tissue engineering technology. These indings must be taken into account when developing new and adjusting existing state programs for realization of the national project Science. When strategic planning of infrastructural, inancial and other kinds of support of the research in the ield of regenerative medicine and cell technologies it is reasonable to allocate ixed assets in favor of the identiied most promising research areas.
