Abstract

The article continues the series of publications on results of monitoring of core shared research facilities (CSRF) and large-scale research facilities (LSRF) located in Russia. Statistical data for the year of 2018 were introduced. 362 CSRF and 201 LSRF take an active role in monitoring. The article contains excerpts from the report on the research work prepared in 2019 with the financial support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. Monitoring Tools. Data were collected by interviewing CSRF and LSRF representatives through forms stored on the ckp-rf.ru website. The forms were filled separately for each CSRF and LSRF. Results. Results of monitoring of CSRF and LSRF are represented in the form of detailed tables, contained information on their capacities (quantity, pricing and age conditions, staff component) and their results (quantity and types of costumers, utilization ratio, income for the benefit of users, number of publications, results of intellectual activities, CSRF and LSRF expenses). Conclusion. Conclusion presents summaries on the key indicators of CSRF and LSRF capacities and results. Sudden changes in the values of indicators compared to previous periods were not identified. Since 2016, there has been an increase in the number of users per CSRF – by one for each year. Utilization ratio of high-value research equipment has increased for the first time to over 80 percent. Utilization ratio of LSRF has been close to 85 percent.
