Necessity of Internet of Things in Smart Grid

Aim of this paper is to gives the overview of the importance of deployment of Internet of Things in Smart Grid so that available power from the grid can be efficiently managed. Also, this paper covers the application of IoT in three levels of generation, transmission and distribution. Besides, it explains about implementation of IoT in renewable energy sources.
