Abstract
Palm is one of the most important food and cash crop in Nigeria providing food, employment and raw materials for more than 120 million people in Nigeria and beyond. Monitoring palm plantation is thus important to developing successful strategies for food security and economic diversification in the country. This paper aims to develop an approach for acreage estimation / crop inventory and yield estimation / prediction.
