Abstract

The article deals with the provisions describing the convergent strategy of teaching the foreign language teacher in higher educational institutions as an alternative to existing traditional education. A convergent strategy is defined as the projection of an integrative-differentiated approach to the practice of teaching future teachers of a foreign language. The positive effects of the strategy implementation in the educational process of the university and its constituent and organizational were presented. It was considered as the scientific basis of methodical preparation of foreign language teacher the main modern tendencies in the approach to the organization, the purposes and the content of teaching of foreign languages which are intended to realize the teacher in the professional activity are considered.
