Abstract
Statistical estimates of allele and genotype frequencies based on CIT1 gene polymorphism were obtained for the first time in various age groups of the Kabardino-Balkaria population. Differences in the frequency of alleles and genotypes in the control group and the group of centenarians were revealed. Analysis of the distribution of frequencies of alleles and genotypes by the CHIT1 gene polymorphism in the control group and the group of centenarians showed that the most frequent are the TT and TN genotypes, as well as the t allele, and the share of carriers of the NN genotype was reduced. When comparing men and women of the two age groups in pairs, there were no statistically significant differences in the frequency of alleles and genotypes.
