Abstract
Image compression is a science that is concerned with the reduction of the number of bits required to store, transmit and reconstruct the image without any loss of information. Though various transforms are used in the field of image compression. Compression technique are proposing with the help of cosine transformation and wavelets transformation with ‘db7','db7' and ‘db8'.And calculate the compression ratio using crossbreed architecture and wavelets ‘db7','db7' and ‘db8'.In this thesis “An Amelloriation technique of imaging compression on crossbreeding wavelets using cosine transformation” proposed algorithm is implemented in MAT LAB 2010.Proposed algorithm has been successfully programmed using MAT LAB and tested.
