Natural and Technological Safety and Environmental Safety: the Essence, Indicators of Assessment, the Role in the Formation of the National Security Strategy of the State

This article examines the essence of environmental security and its components (technogenic and natural security) as important components of national security, and presents the changes in the parameters that characterize them. The analysis of the essence of the concepts of "ecological safety", "technogenic safety", "natural security". It is established that the components of ecological safety are natural and technogenic safety or their combination in the form of natural and technogenic safety. The tasks and directions of improvement of conditions of providing technogenic and natural security in the national security system of Ukraine are characterized. Problem in the changes of environmental safety parameters (individually anthropogenic and natural safety indicators) in Ukraine are identified and ways of their solution are suggested. The article determines that environmental security is considered from the point of view of ensuring public safety and security for the environment. The article defines and characterizes the nature and indicators of the assessment of the components of ecological safety - technogenic and natural safety in the context of their combination in the form of natural and technogenic safety. The specifics of their evaluation are outlined. Changes in environmental safety parameters (individually anthropogenic and natural safety indicators) have been analyzed recently. It is suggested to further use this data for a model of forecasting environmental safety for future periods. Information on the tasks and possibilities of effective provision of natural-technogenic safety is presented. It is proposed in further studies to develop models of development scenarios, taking into account the specificity of changes in indicators of technological and natural security.
