Сontinuity of respublica literaria and civil science

This article examines some features of the Republic of Letters of Renaissance and Modern Age, which can help to characterize peculiarities of information exchange about manifestations of COVID-19 virus in different countries within the framework of “new” Republic of Scientists formed on the basis of civil science. The article aims to identify the continuity of principles of the contemporary republic of scientists in relation to the Respublica literaria in Renaissance and Modern Age, as well as identify, within the framework of their comparison, some historical parallels related to the methods of research of the scientific object.
