Abstract
The article deals with Common Slavonic lexis reconstruction, in particular, the reconstruction of Common Slavonic suffixless verbs containing or in their roots that do not have reflexes in any of the Slavonic languages. The author first reconstructs the Common Slavonic derivational pattern ‘underlying suffixless verb with er in its root > derived noun'. On the basis of this pattern, the author reconstructs the following Common Slavonic suffixless verbs not attested in the Slavonic languages: **beti «to take», **degti> **det'і «to tug, to tear», **dveti «to stretch, to part», **gedti > žedti > žesti «to fence», **geti > **žeti «to burn, to be on fire», **keti > **četi «to cut; sharply, bitingly to insult», **mekti > **met'i «to darken», **nesti «to spawn», **neti «to weave, to bind», **seti «to defecate», **tveti «to create», **vetti > *vesti «to turn, to rotate», **zeti «to shine, to glisten; to look at something that shines or glistens».
