Учення П . О . Лавровського крізь призму когнітивно-дискурсивного аналізу

Modern methods of modeling language history have originated from comparativehistorical researches of the 19-th century having linguistic ideas of P. Lavrovskyi as one of their sources. Some concepts of the 21-th century researchers correlate with the ideas of the scholar who examined language facts in chronological development and localization, traced the changes that had happened in them, stressed on the gradual character of those changes, indicated and explained the peculiarities of cognate languages and defined the specific character of Ukrainian and Russian on the basis of their genetic proximity. The scholar's conclusions have preserved the ir importance and value for cognitive and discourse analysis of such a heterogeneous phenomenon as a language.
