Ways to improve the training of future architects in higher technical education

The article provides a thorough analysis of the problem of education improvement in higher education institutions of a technical profile and the difficulties that arise during the studying process due to the specificity of the specialty "Architecture". Rational and irrational learning styles, alternative pedagogical resources of art education, contradiction of creativity and signs of creative act are analyzed. Necessary components of creative development, methods of imagination and fantasy development and ways of development and evaluation of ideas, as well as common problems in teaching art are considered. The means used to stimulate students to study, as well as the methods and peculiarities of motivation, are described. The role of a teacher in the organization of educational process and methods of strengthening its influence on students are revealed. The attention is focused on the peculiarities of the evaluation of creative tasks and the comparative content of different types of students' activities during their studies. The advantages of using distance learning and mental cards, as well as the peculiarities of self-employment, are given. The peculiarities of planning and organization of the educational process, based on the general pedagogical rules, principles and the relationship between the subject, tasks, content and form of a lesson, as a separate component of educational process are highlighted. Alternative forms of the US and Western European studies are explored as well as the nature of problem and interactive learning. The important elements of planning and organization of educational process and the effectiveness of various forms of cooperation and teamwork are identified. According to the results of the work, conclusions were drawn regarding the ways to higher efficiency of educational process in the technical higher education institution, methods and forms, which will contribute to the improvement of the quality of training.
