Abstract
Fieldexperimentswereconductedtodevelopthesuitableorganicfarmingpackage for rice-blackgram crop sequence. Treatmentsconsistinggreenmanurerecorded significantly high number of tillers andhighestplantheight, drymatterproduction, root length, root volume and root dry weight over rest of the treatments. The recommended practice also recorded -relatively, more number of tillers, leaves hill1,higherplantheight,drymatterproduction, root length, root volume and root dry weight which is on par with the aforesaidtreatment.Thereforethe-application of green manure @6.25 t ha1-1+split application of vermicompost @ 4t hain four equal splits (basal, AT, PI & F) + Panchagavya @ 3% as foliar spray twice (AT & PI) can be recommended for adoption in organic cultivation of rice- black gram crop sequence grown organicall
