Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of acceptance and commitment therapy in improving the emotion regulation ability of adolescent victims of violence. This research was conducted with a Quasi Experimental design of six young women who were divided into an experimental group and a control group. The measuring instrument used in this study was Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale. The results of this study indicate there is no significant effect on the effectiveness of acceptance-commitment therapy in increasing the emotional regulation ability of adolescent victims of violence.
