Abstract
Detecting and eliminating landmines is a supreme concern as currently there are many landmines all over the world in order to protect from their enemies. The processes of removing these landmines are slow, dangerous and expensive. New technologies have provided effective alternatives from identifying the landmines manually. As we use landmine detecting robots, as they can detect the landmines using a metal detectoror electromagnetic coil or ground penetrating radar (GPR) or any different detection mechanism connected to a microcontroller circuit. It can save a life if there are any unusual causality that may take place as it is driven by a Bluetooth module (which can be controlled from far places using a controller). So this paper explains the use, methodology and working principle that are used in a landmine detecting robot. The prototype which is discussed in this paper, is successful in detecting the landmines which are placed in the grounds and it generates an alarm upon the detection of a landmine. The prototype is of a low cost module.
