Abstract
Three boundary conditions, i.e. P-P, F-F and F-P with three cross section columns, i.e. rectangular, circular and I-section have been studied. Theoretical results obtained from Euler formula and numerical results obtained by FEA for columns of a different lengths (L= 1500, 1750, 2000, 2250 and 2500 mm) showed a good agreement between them. The highest bulking load value will be in F-P boundary condition and the lowest one in F-F boundary condition column, also the circular cross section columns are best than other two boundary condition
