Design of Abalanced Mechanism for Wheelchair to Moving on Stairs

The main motive of our project is to motivate the needy that they can climb the stair with ease. There is a sharp increase in older people and disability among people at present, this work which focuses on making life easier for those people who feel discomfort on walking.So a New wheelchair mechanism which is able to move on Stairs is designed in this report,is able to work on Manuallyand planned to make it work with motor also.It helps handicapped and older people to move more flexibly and comfortably.An optimization design for the planetary wheel mechanism is designed and manufactured in this report.In this project,planetary gear mechanism is used for climbing in stairs.
