Abstract
The results of epidemiological studies indicate an increase in the prevalence of allergic diseases. The identification of causative allergens is crucial for establishing an accurate diagnosis of allergies and serves as the basis for the treatment of such patients. The second part of this review presents a new direction in allergology – molecular diagnostics.
