FEATURES OF VALUE AND MEANINGFUL ORIENTATIONS IN ADOLESCENTS AND YOUNG PEOPLE

Abstract
The article presents the results of a study of the features of value and life-meaning orientations in ado- lescence and youth. The relevance of the research topic is noted, since the process of transformation of the val- ues of modern youth causes alarm among teachers and psychologists. The analysis of the results of the study made it possible to conclude that the orientation “towards business” prevails among young men, while among adolescents the orientation “toward oneself” is more pronounced. Statistically significant differences were found in the hierarchy of terminal values: a materially secure life, a productive life, as well as instrumental values: courage in defending one's opinion, one's views, independence, diligence, high demands. Young respondents are characterized by a tendency towards more meaningfulness in life than adolescents
