INFLUENCE OF HUMAN CHARACTER ON THE CHOICE OF CLOTHING STYLE

The article reveals issues related to the influence of a person's character on the choice of clothing style. The significance of this study is due to the fact that some personality traits have a direct impact on certain preferences in the style of clothing, since in the process of cultural development, clothing has become a contin- uation, part of the human personality. The purpose of this article is to study the process of forming an individual clothing style, as well as to identify the socio-psychological foundations of the formation of an individual cloth- ing style by young people 18–30 years old, depending on their nature. The object of research is the individual style of clothing as a consequence of choice under the influence of personality traits. In the course of work on the research topic, the following methods were used: the study of socio-psychological literature; testing; analysis and synthesis of the obtained material; statistical analysis of empirical data
