Abstract
In this manuscript the modeling of a nine level cascaded T type configuration with carrier based modulation scheme is presented. The T-Type Configuration is the simplest configuration among various reduced switch count Multi-level inverter (RSC-MLI's). T-Type Configuration has 62.5% redundancies. However Limited redundancies of T-Type configuration limits its improvement to higher levels, either by increasing Bi-directional switches which are used in PV applications, or by extension of T-Type, through cascade presuserits redundancies which help to obtain uniform power distribution. In literature Multi-reference PWM scheme is the popular approach used to implement the T-Type configuration. However implementation of this scheme for closed loop is little difficultand in this paper simplest reduced carrier PWM approachis used to implement cascade T-Type configuration with uniform power distribution among the cascaded T-Type module. Cascaded T-Type 9 Levelconfiguration & results are demonstrated for both uniform and non-uniform power distribution.
