Abstract
The main trends of modern economic development in particular growth of expansion of the transnational corporations and specific features of a value added by means of value chain are examined in the article. This gives rise to the formation of specific proportions of value added, namely the inequality in income distribution, the increase in the share of trade in gross domestic product, the movement of production of hi-tech products to less developed countries, the reduction in barriers of an entrance into value chains.
