ENVIRONMENTAL AND ECONOMIC ASPECTS OF THE USE OF ASHES AND SLAG WASTES

The actual problem for all cities with ash dumps is their utilization or use. The environmental and economic aspects of possible use of ashes and slag waste of Ekibastuz coal in construction are examined in the present article. The experiment results on production of light concrete with use of ashes and slag waste as a filler are given. Low cost, durability, perhaps, will lead to use of ash dumps that will allow to solve an environmental problem of the territory of the North Kazakhstan area.
