Abstract
The diagnosis of SARS-Cov-2 infection is based on a variety of clinical, biological and radiological arguments. SARS-Cov-2 infection is mainly manifested by respiratory signs. Sometimes extra-respiratory manifestations may be the first or the only symptom of COVID-19, before fever or respiratory signs. Laboratory abnormalities that may lead early to infection with SARS-CoV-2 are lymphopenia and an increased C Reactive Protein (CRP). The chest scanner seems useful for identifying images compatible with COVID-19. Serological tests could provide additional diagnostic information to molecular tests by RT-PCR that constitute the method of choice for the detection of the SARS-CoV-2.
