Abstract

In recent decades, Russian humanitarian science has paid special attention to the study of problems related to such a phenomenon as the deportation of the peoples of the North Caucasus, including the Karachay and Balkar peoples, to Central Asia and Kazakhstan. Forced migration of an ethnic group is primarily reflected in its oral folk art, the study of which makes it possible to identify and describe the specifics of the world perception of the society at critical stages of its life. The study of this is quite relevant for the modern paradigm of linguistics, which is characterized by its immersion in the life of the society. At the same time, the problems related to the transformation of the worldview of the ethnic language consciousness in the new conditions of life are actualized. The article is devoted to the study of ethnospecific language means that represent the deportation of Karachay and Balkars. The analysis of the available factual material allowed us to identify a whole layer of language units that reflect various characteristics of the so-called eviction folklore. The material for the study was the information obtained during the interview of persons who were forcibly evicted, as well as lexical-phraseological and other language means extracted by the continuous sampling method from the Karachay-Balkar folk poetry works of the period of deportation, presented in the open press.
