Abstract
The Increase in traffic in urban areas poses a serious challenge to the urban development departments and governments across the globe. There is a need to introduce a more efficient vehicle classification system to map the traffic effectively. To achieve this acoustic signal based vehicle classification system is preferred. The calculation comprises of preprocessing, feature extraction, and a basic yet compelling factual example coordinating. The wavelet pre handling gives time-recurrence multi goals investigation utilizing Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT). Highlight vectors are produced from the parameters inside each dimension of the acoustic sign to be blocked and are contrasted, and the reference vehicle includes vectors utilizing actual example coordinating to decide the sort of vehicle from which the flag was started. The previously mentioned framework uses wavelet pre handling and factual case coordinating to give robust Acoustic Signal Recognition (ASR)
