Abstract
Aim: Research purpose is to answer some questions: How were Vietnamese tourism enterprises affected by Covid? And What did Vietnamese tourism enterprises do when the Covid disease took place and their solutions? Method: From April 13 to April 17, 2020, 394 enterprises were surveyed in the field of tourism and travel, including 51% of them were tour operators, 15% were hotels and 14% were tourist transportation. 92% of those were small and mediumsized businesses with fewer than 100 employees. Conclusion and Policy implications: We propose some policies, for instance: Continue to control the covid epidemic by stopping entry and exit with foreign countries until the world epidemic situation basically controlled, zoning off isolated stamping and quick test application; and Open the economy step by step to remove the ban on domestic level and let enterprises do the normal business as before Covid pandemic.
