Abstract
This paper proposes a technique that can automatically estimate and fine-tune the parameters that have been considered in an IM drive to provide high performance speed control for a discrete time MPC. The control mechanism here combines the process MRAS with the controller ANFIS. The method of fine tuning the parameters achieves a high performance in time. The integration of MRAS and ANFIS is achieved as predictive control of the Adaptive Discrete Time model. The proposed ADMPC framework optimizes the objective function by state space model which considers the actual and reference speeds along with the acceleration of the IM drive. The high performance of motor drive and effectiveness of proposed ADMPC is validated by selective simulation results by using MATLAB/SIMULINK.
