FEATURES OF SCENIC PERSONIFICATION OF NATIONAL AZERBAIJANI CLOTHES IN THE SECOND HALF OF 30S – BEGINNING OF 40S OF THE LAST CENTURY (on the sketches of theatrical artists)

The article tells about national Azerbaijani clothes on materials of theatrical sketches of 30s – begin- ning of 40s of the last century. The author notes that it was a period of development of theatrical art. Scenogra- phy was developing too. Creative activity of artists who took part in staging plays draws attention. They created bright and interesting samples of clothes. Together with A. Azimzade, the greatest artist, who closely worked with Baku theatres, S. Yefimenko, I. Akhundov, Q. Mustafayev and other theatrical artists also worked during those years. Sketches created by them contain coloring and characteristic features of national Azerbaijani clothes
