Abstract
Several methods of optimal placement of elements of electrical and electronic circuits on the switching field are considered. A computational method is proposed that is an adaptation of the Gauss-Seidel method based on the General approach of paired permutations. A variant of the genetic algorithm is also considered, which is similar to the one used for solving Diophantine equations and is also linked to the method of paired permutations. It is proposed to combine the two methods considered in one program. Examples of calculations by the considered methods are considered.
