Covert actions as legal phenomena in criminal procedure of Ukraine

The article is devoted to the development of qualitative characteristics of such legal phenomena as 'covert actions'. Secrecy is examined both within the frames of operative investigation and criminal procedure. Besides, general and particular features of the mentioned phenomena is analysed, and on that basis a conclusion concerning its nature and role in contemporary criminal procedure in Ukraine is made.
