Authentic materials and cultural content in EFL classrooms

This article aims to answer questions about when and how authentic materials should be used in English as a foreign language classroom and how cultural content can be incorporated into the curriculum. To answer these questions, the article is divided into two parts. The first part defines authentic materials. The advantages and disadvantages of using authentic materials are then discussed. The second part defines culture and then discusses why and how cultural content should be used.
