CHALLENGES WITH TEACHING SPEAKING TO ESL STUDENTS AND METHODS TO OVERCOME THE HURDLES

As it is universally known to each language learner, any language demands different aspects to be comprehended, which means not only grammar or vocabulary but also speaking and writing should be focused for perfect fluency in a target language. To the contrary fact of the past teaching method, which concentrated more on grammar, nowadays it is replaced by speaking. By this I mean to the contemporary way of teaching English language can be comprehended without grammar also, with only speaking. Owing to this fact, a majority of language teachers are paying more attention to the comprehension of teaching speaking approaches, methods and techniques. This article as well centralizes means of teaching speaking to ESL students, by which I intend to sort out previous methods along with new recommendations.
