CURRENT LEGAL AND SOCIAL PROBLEMS IN THE FIELD OF IMMIGRATION (AS EXEMPLIFIED IN THE GERMAN FEDERAL REPUBLIC)

The article describes the phenomenon of migration, taking into account the specifics of the migration process itself. The main reasons for migration are described. Using the example of Germany, some problems of immigration are considered as an important direction of migration policy. The article describes the socio- structural characteristics of the migration process, in particular motivational, spatial, temporal, and socio-cultural dimensions. The expediency of more consistent consideration of the selected characteristics of the migration process in the development of the appropriate legal framework in this area is justified
