Abstract
Industries are producing more and more waste in this age. Disposal and proper utilization of this industrial waste poses a grave environmental situation. Copper slag is abundantly produced by the copper manufacturing industries. Waste foundry sand is produced by metal casting industries. In this research, both these industrial waste materials were used as partial replacement of fine aggregates. The intent of this paper was to produce self-compacting concrete in which both the copper slag and waste foundry sand were utilized to check the effects on the fresh state properties and mechanical properties. Flexural strength and compressive strength were performed up to 28 days.
