Abstract
With the support of information technology (IT), teachers have more opportunities to increase the effectiveness of teaching. Teaching by using the flipped-classroom (FC) method allows students to access lectures and learning resources outside class, thereby enhancing their proactive potential during the regular school hours. In this paper, the author presents the results of his research on the ability to develop IT competence when applying the flipped-classroom method to pedagogical students in teaching Natural Sciences subjects - one of the critical skills that need to be developed by teachers and students of the pedagogical field.
