Abstract
Natural fibers are booming due to being cost-effective and readily available and it has now been proven that it can be used as an alternative reinforcement material in synthetic fibers in the composite. Now days use of winding techniques is helping to increase the strength of composite structures. This project aims to produce the natural fiber cloth composite tubular structure with different cloth winding technique. The natural fiber composite tubular structure can replace the conventional shaft. Example: Base of a wind turbine blade, infrastructure applications. This study investigates the compressive behaviour of the natural composite tubular structure by varying the cloth closing angles. The purpose is to use any tubular structure under a compressive load and we can use natural flax fiber instead of glass fiber on any tubular structure. This technique is cheaper as compared to the filament winding techniques
