Research of the influence of the type of floor covering on heat release from a heated floor

An experimental study was carried out, as a result of which the surface temperature of a warm floor with a different type of floor covering was determined. A method for calculating heat transfer from a warm floor to the ambient air has been developed. The analysis of the influence of the type of floor covering on the heat transfer from the warm floor was carried out.According to the results of the study, it can be concluded that the best covering for a warm floor in terms of energy efficiency is linoleum.
