The population consisted of 75 senior Iranian executives active in monetary/banking industry, and 64 of whom were selected based on simple random sampling method by Cochran formula. Data was collected by a researcher-made questionnaire which its validity was approved by experts' viewpoint and its reliability was confirmed by composite
reliability and Cronbach's alpha. To test the hypotheses, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used via Smart PLS (partial least squares). All the research hypotheses were confirmed, demonstrating the positive effect of individual factors (i.e. psychological characteristics, cognitive abilities, and individual abilities) on the evaluation of corporate entrepreneurial opportunities from the viewpoint of managers active in the Iranian banking industry.
