ADDICTION TO SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES AMONG TEENAGERS IN INDIA : A SURVEY

Social networking over internet has reached an surprising increase during the last 10 years due to more and more teenagers joining it. Young adults and teenagers prefer to use social networking sites. It is conclusion of several research studies based on social networking sites that teenagers have become addicted to these type of sites. This research has been conducted among teenagers. Structured questionnaire has been used for this research. This survey will be useful to focus light on extreme use of social networking sites among teenagers. Questionnaire which is used in this research paper, is used to measure addiction of social networking sites among teenagers and helps in the study of background. It finds out whether youngsters are using their time for meaningful work or not. It is very important that teenagers should use their time for their development. Wrong use of social networking sites is harmful for teenagers. It is also harmful for society. Government should pay attention towards these issues and should take corrective action. It is a related to common people of society
