Abstract
Businesses need a fast, accurate and effective inter-organizational or extraorganizational, communication configuration to survive. This need is the Public Relations. This phenomenon is a war of earning respect within the society. Without doubt, businesses who win this war will overcome the others. Public relations has changed and developed by keeping pace with this development process. By taking into consideration that 21st century is described as the communication age, it is easier to understand the importance of public relations for the organizational culture. In this information and technology era, with the communicational tools being more effective the need for public relations is gradually increasing. Looking at the studies in the literature, the need to address the issue on the necessity of public relations in terms of organizational culture has risen. This study focuses on the necessity of the public relations in business functions and its importance on the success of the organizational culture.
