Abstract
The Syrian refugees' problem in Jordan is a sensitive on, due to the turbulent refugee history there and because the demographics in Jordan have become unbalanced, where the number of refugees exceeds the number of citizens. Then a question arises about the reality of the role of civil society organizations in achieving political and social development for Syrian refugees in Jordan. This study aimed, through an applied study, on a sample of 120 Syrian refugees in Jordan, to identify the role of civil society organizations in achieving social and political development, using a questionnaire. The study found the minimal role of civil society organizations in achieving the social and political development of refugees and concluded by providing recommendations to activate this role in the future
