Abstract
We have all heard of co-working spaces, a common office complex shared by various companies that is aimed to foster openness and enhance productivity. But what exactly are co-living spaces? They are nothing but a modern housing concept where the residents with a shared pool of interests and values share the living space. Co-living spaces encourage the residents to interact and network with each other. Primarily developed upon the concept of collaboration and openness, these spaces offer the residents complete privacy, while at the same an opportunity to work and interact with like-minded people. Residents get to have their own bedrooms and bathrooms, but living rooms and kitchen are shared. It is thus a quite practical option as the rent is shared among the residents and costs turn out to be economical. Although the prices may vary from company to company and city to city, it is always much cheaper than renting an entire apartment. These spaces are mostly situated in the heart of the cities and are targeted at young, working professionals settled in the urban areas who do not wish to waste their time in commuting to work
